FIIVO Privacy Policy

FIIVO ("FIIVO", "we", "us") helps you understand your personal finances, most importantly, your Financial Runway and Simulations. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

FIIVO is operated by FIIVO L.L.C-FZ, a company incorporated in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What we collect

Information you provide: your email address and, optionally, your name when you create an account, and the financial information you choose to enter, such as account names and balances, income, expenses, recurring items, assets, liabilities, goals, budgets, and simulations.

Bank statements you choose to upload: FIIVO can process a statement file so you do not have to enter transactions manually. The information extracted from an uploaded statement is used to create the transactions you confirm and, where applicable, a temporary working record used to support the import process. We do not retain uploaded statement files longer than necessary for the import process. Your bank statements are not stored after the import is completed with only the transaction data retained.

Information created as you use FIIVO: the metrics we calculate from your entries, such as Financial Runway, cash flow and net worth, together with periodic snapshots used to show trends over time.

We do not collect your bank login credentials. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your financial information for advertising.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide, maintain and secure FIIVO, including to calculate and display your financial metrics, save your information so it is available when you return, authenticate your account, provide requested communications, prevent misuse, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your financial information for advertising or for third-party marketing.

Where your data is stored

FIIVO stores customer information in secure data centre infrastructure located in Ireland, within the European Union.

Ireland is subject to the European Union data protection framework and robust privacy and confidentiality requirements. FIIVO selects service providers that process information on our behalf under written contractual obligations requiring appropriate security, confidentiality and data protection measures.

Service providers

We use carefully selected service providers to operate FIIVO. Depending on the service provided, these providers may assist with:

• secure cloud hosting and data storage;
• email delivery and account communications;
• security and fraud prevention;
• application performance and reliability monitoring; and
• technical and operational support.

How we protect your information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss and destruction.

• row-level security and encryption of data in transit and at rest;
• strong authentication and access controls;
• segregation and access restrictions designed to prevent unauthorised access to customer data;
• security monitoring and logging; and
• regular review and improvement of our security measures.

FIIVO is designed and operated with security as a core requirement, and we continually review and improve the safeguards used to protect customer information.

Your choices and rights

You can export your FIIVO data from Settings in the formats made available by FIIVO.

You can permanently delete your account and associated personal information from Settings where that functionality is available. Certain information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, or object to or request restriction of certain processing. Contact us at contact@fiivo.com.

Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide FIIVO and maintain your account. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law or is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal claims or other legitimate purposes.

Temporary records associated with uploaded statements are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the import and related support process.

Children

FIIVO is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email.
